Hit me with your best shot

In four days, I'll be driving for 10+ hours by myself, and I need your help.

To keep the needle pegged and my foot on the floor, I need driving tunes.

10+ hours of driving tunes.

So, lay it on me--your top 10, top 20, hell, all of your driving tunes. Any genre. Any artist. Just no lullabies.

To allow me time to get it all loaded up for the trip, you have 48 hours...go!

What are you waiting for? Go!

  1. While you're not looking for movies, I have a movie recommendation to avoid. On our flight out to DC last week, the in flight movie was "Get Low".

  2. Car Talk podcasts, Planet Money podcasts or any other NPR podcasts that float your boat.

  3. Even in Blackouts - acoustic punk, I highly recommend...pretty artistic when you listen to it over and over

War of the Worlds, radio broadcast

    Tom Waits, pretty much anything

    Gorillaz - Demon Days

Have a fun trip, singing along to everything as loud as you can!

  4. Bill, I'll definitely avoid that...and all movies...on my drive.

CAGirl, fully loaded with podcasts, NPR and otherwise.

Tara & Naterator, I'm checking out Even in Blackouts now. I've got a lot of Tom Waits on board already, and I'll make sure I have enough Gorillaz loaded up. War of the Worlds? Yes, except I've heard it so many times, I might be able to recite passages.
